This family foursome from Michigan has been singing together for over 20 years. They've performed
all over North America, and also recently in Germany. Notable Power Play performances include the
Grande Old Opry and NBC's The Jane Pauley Show.
Jack Slamka, bass (and father), lives in Riley Township, MI with his wife, Kitty. Jack also directs
the Guardians of Harmony Chorus in Macomb, MI.
Michael, lead (Jack's son), lives in St. Clair, MI with his wife, Traci, and their three
daughters, Michaela, Mackenzi and Madison.
Mark, baritone (Jack's other son), lives in St. Clair Shores, MI with his wife Jennifer, and
their son, Dylan, and daughter, Felicity.
Don, tenor (Jack's nephew), lives in Reading, MI with his wife, Staci, and their
daughter, Holli. Don also directs the Town and County Chorus in Hillsdale, MI.
In 2003, after many years of competition, Power Play won the Barbershop Harmony Society's coveted
International Quartet Championship in Montreal, Canada.
